Do People Like Flaws in Artworks? (2 Minute Read)
Hello everyone,
Please remember to subscribe and leave a comment down below as general.
Have you ever seen a very intricate work of art and questioned " Why is this not on the walls of a museum?". Well if you read along today you will find out why this is occurring.
This is frequently because of characters like flaws in artworks. Have you seen the Mona Lisa? Well if you have then you probably know that it is a disappointment and you probably assume that there are greater paintings out there. Another regretful thing is that so many people come to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa when there are so many wonderful portraits that are less well-known but so much pleasanter. This is my first of three pieces of evidence that I am sure will get you viewing things from a separate perspective for a very lengthy period.
Another piece of evidence is that there are more elaborate and vivid artworks but galleries out there resist putting them up because they are not the classics that people arrive at the galleries to see. Therefore the gallery will waste money is they keep on going in this way so the galleries will not purchase these people's artworks. Then who else will purchase these people's artworks? Well, one contestant is people who can afford portraits to put up on their wall. Morosely though most of those people will only buy authentic paintings made by important artists because their principal focus is to dazzle other people. There are still those who would like to genuinely enjoy great portraits but those people are difficult to locate so intricate artworks are difficult to locate because it is difficult to make cash off them. This is yet another reason why people like defects in their art: it is simple to discover and most are made by important artists.
For my closing evidence, I would love to speak about how artists are not concentrated on producing great artworks anymore but are more focused on making loads of cash without inserting much effort as well as making scenes to draw attention. One instance is the man who fastened a banana to a piece of paper then auctioned it for a few million dollars. Following that he went back to the effortless work before it was handed over and consumed the banana. I wish this proves my point and that you will see the world from a distinct view for the remainder of your days.
Until next time,
This is Chaitanya giving you things to think about.
