Why Should We All Watch Black Panther? (5 Minute Read)

I am sure that you have heard of the movie Black Panther. You may love it, you may hate it, or you may never have watched it. Whichever one of the categories you fall into, I hope that you will turn to the first category after reading this essay. Black Panther was a movie made by the cinematic company Marvel. Marvel makes superhero movies like the Avengers and Black Panther was a perfect fit for their next movie. The whole plot was that there was a country called Wakanda that the rest of the world thinks is a developing country. Though, Wakanda is the hub of all technology. It has technology that is far beyond what any other country is making and the reason why they have such great technology is because of an ore called Vibranium. Vibranium allows them to advance their technology to amazing heights. Nobody else in the world can know about the Vibranium though because if they do then there will be a war erupting over it. This is why they are keeping their technology a secret. Now there is a new king who is threatening to expose Wakanda to the world. The black panther must stop him before the king starts a war that may never end.
The graphics in this movie are amazing. The director had to make sure that everything looked believable. This included the skyscrapers and the big nuclear shots that were absorbed by the black panther's suit. The Black Panther has even won an oscar for their great graphics. The graphics were fitting in perfectly making it seem as if a building in Tokyo would blow up when the Black Panther climbed the signs on it and was running vertically. Another extremely believable thing was when the younger Black Panther who was without his suit jumped at his father in an attempt to save him from a bomb that was rigged by somebody who wanted to kill him. The Black Panther nearly got there but then got repelled by the force of the explosion. This small scene where we saw that he was so close to saving his father but then got repelled was enough to help us identify with him. We have all had a time in our life when we were extremely close to something then got pushed away from getting it. This is the genius of movie directors and how these small scenes that are full of great graphics can help to identify and be able to feel what the main character is feeling. You may feel like there is no way that graphics can make somebody sympathize with a character or somebody else but they completely can and movie producers know that. All movie producers try this but Black Panther is the first to completely nail this technique.
Black Panther is just the right age for people who are scared of movies like Avengers but do not want to watch movies that the used to watch like frozen. The reason behind this is because the villain does not have some crazy weapon that kills an insane number of people. Instead, the villain fights with his own body and throws punches instead of using science to make some kind of a monster that does the dirty work for him. The main theme of the movie was sadness and not violence or fear. The sadness is there because you feel sad that the villain was abandoned after the hero's father killed the villain's father. Another reason why it is not a movie meant for an older audience since there are lots of cool flips and gymnastics moves that the Black Panther pulls off while taking down the enemy. This proves that it was made for the audience that I talked about at the start of this paragraph. This is proven because a younger audience would like the gymnastics while an older audience would not enjoy it as much. These kinds of tricks are shown when the Black Panther dodges the incoming attacks coming from the enemy and other things just like that. To sum up this paragraph, The Black Panther is a great movie that transitions the gap between superhero movies and small movies like frozen.
One may say that Black Panther is still a superhero movie and that it has a 13+ rating. I believe that the rating is a little faulty for Black Panther. Even though it may be violent I think that the only reason why the rating is that way is because of the songs. Every song has a curse word in it. Do not worry though, the songs are played at high action times so you will not be listening to the song but instead be sucking up every bit of adrenaline that you will get from watching the action scene. The songs are also quite soft making you not pay attention to the words and only to the tune. Someone may also say that if people watch Black Panther at the wrong age thinking that they had grown out of movies like frozen, then they would get scared and not want to watch superhero movies again. First, this is quite unlikely as the parents will know that the child should not watch scary movies such as Black Panther before they are ready to handle it. Also if the child gets scared then they will probably not finish the movie and instead, turn it off and not finish it. This will mean that when they re older they will want to know how the story ends and they will watch it again. When they are not scared they will think that it is fun and then they will want to watch other marvel movies meaning that Black Panther turned out to be the bridge between what I explained earlier. Another thing that somebody may say is that this technique does not work for adults as the movie came out in 2019. This can easily be crossed as the adult can simply watch the movie now.
To sum up, This movie is amazing because the graphics help you relate to the character, and it is a great bridge between little kid movies and superhero movies. Please tell your friends about how great Black Panther is and give a few reasons. Thank you very much.
